I am working on a very special project for my 7 year-old daughter and thought I was going the have to throw in the the towel because I couldn’t figure out the zipper. I will be sure to ‘pay it forward’.
Viewers, please note that the zipper is longer than the required garment opening and bottom zipper stop was placed an inch below the bottom point of that garment opening. Make sure those pattern markings are clearly marked and visible on both fabric and? zipper tape, as this is where you will want to end you stitch. This type of placement helps to alleviate that “bump” that can so often appear on the outside of the closed garment.
